Softball Recap: Westview Chargers vs. Dyer County Choctaws
After flying high against Union City last Tuesday, Westview came back down to earth. The Westview Chargers fell just short of the Dyer County Choctaws by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. The loss continues a trend for the Chargers in their meetings with the Choctaws: they've now lost four in a row.

McCall Sims was huge no matter where she played even without the win. She struck out nine batters over four innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits (and only one walk). She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one walk any time she's pitched this season. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one double.
