Softball Preview: Bolivar-Richburg Wolverines vs. Friendship Golden Eagles
The Bolivar-Richburg Wolverines will face off against the Friendship Golden Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bolivar-Richburg will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
Bolivar-Richburg is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They never let Hinsdale Central get on the board and left with a 22-0 win on Monday. With that victory, the Wolverines brought their scoring average up to 6.6 runs per game.

Kylee Whiting was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out 11 over five innings pitched. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 5.2 strikeouts per game. She was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with four runs, two stolen bases, and one double. Those four runs gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, Bolivar-Richburg got a massive performance out of Sydney Faulkner, who got on base in all five of her plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
