Soccer Game Preview: Trinity Prep vs. Hagerty

The Trinity Prep Saints will face off against the Hagerty Huskies at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The timing isn't great for Trinity Prep: they have been struggling with five straight losses at home, while Hagerty has snatched up four consecutive wins on the road.

Trinity Prep came up short against NSU University on Saturday, falling 4-1. While losing is never fun, the Saints can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 386th, while the Sharks are ranked 19th).

Meanwhile, Hagerty hasn't lost a match yet, a trend which continued in their latest game on Friday. Neither they nor Oviedo could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw. The Huskies' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Their goal came courtesy of Leonardo Garay, who's now up to eight this season.

Trinity Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8-1. Hagerty's draw gives them a new season record of 7-0-3.
