Soccer Recap: Eisenhower Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Eisenhower hadn't done well against Wenatchee recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Cadets came out on top against the Panthers by a score of 4-2. The victory was all the more spectacular given Eisenhower's disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked 80th, while Wenatchee are ranked 18th).

Eisenhower hit Wenatchee with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Rigo Mendoza, Sergio Mora, Antonio Castillo, and Jose Villa.

The win was the third in a row for Eisenhower, bringing their record up to 6-3-1. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 11 goals over those three matchups. As for Wenatchee, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 5-1.

Meanwhile, Wenatchee will take on rival Sunnyside at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
