Basketball Recap: Port Edwards Extends Home Winning Streak to Eight

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Almond-Bancroft, Port Edwards was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top against the Tri-County Penguins by a score of 70-58. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Blackhawks considering their 30-point performance the game before.

Port Edwards' win was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-3. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.6 points per game. As for Tri-County, they now have a losing record at 2-3.
