Baseball Recap: Miller Takes a Loss

Miller lost against Flour Bluff back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Miller Buccaneers lost 14-2 to the Flour Bluff Hornets. The Buccaneers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Miller saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Eathan Vela, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3. Vela has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last five times he's played.

Miller's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Flour Bluff, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-7-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Miller will challenge King at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Flour Bluff, they will face off against Ray at 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
