Soccer Recap: Tough Loss for Hershey

If Hershey was riding high off their 5-0 takedown of Mifflin County on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Trojans came up short against the Lower Dauphin Falcons on Thursday, falling 5-0. While losing is never fun, Hershey can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 311th, while Lower Dauphin are ranked 40th).

Hershey dropped their record down to 3-8-2 with the loss, which was their third straight at home. Lower Dauphin (11-0-2) has been on a roll lately: they've now won 11 of their last 12 matches.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Hershey is set to square off against their familiar foe Palmyra at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Lower Dauphin will take on their in-conference opponent Red Land at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday.
