Volleyball Game Preview: Mascenic Regional Vikings vs. Londonderry Lancers

The Mascenic Regional Vikings will head out on the road to face off against the Londonderry Lancers at 5:15 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Mascenic Regional took a three-set loss the last time they faced off against Stark, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Vikings sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Generals on Friday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Vikings as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, Londonderry faced Timberlane in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Lancers put the hurt on the Owls with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win was some much needed relief for the Lancers as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Mascenic Regional's record is now 3-7. As for Londonderry, their record now sits at 5-6.
