Soccer Game Preview: Miami Beach vs. St. Augustine

The Miami Beach Hi-Tides will square off against the St. Augustine Saints at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. Miami Beach will be coming into the matchup with an undefeated record on the line.

Miami Beach is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They were the clear victor by an 8-0 margin over iMater Charter on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Hi-Tides, who have now won three games by four goals or more so far this season.

Their offense was hitting iMater Charter from everywhere, as seven different players booted in a goal. Gonzalo Villalba led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Meanwhile, St. Augustine's game on Tuesday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They beat San Pasqual by a goal, winning 2-1.

Miami Beach pushed their record up to 6-0-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 23 goals over those six contests. As for St. Augustine, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
