Soccer Recap: Knightstown Takes a Loss

Knightstown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 4-0 to the Greenfield-Central Cougars. That's two games in a row now that Knightstown have lost by exactly four goals.

Knightstown's loss dropped their record down to 1-11-3. As for Greenfield-Central, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-9-1 record this season.

Knightstown and Greenfield-Central are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. The Panthers will face off against Morristown at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Knightstown will be up against Morristown's rather soft defense (which has allowed 2.57 goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Greenfield-Central, they will take on Southport at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
