Alabama Christian Academy and Montevallo squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Alabama Christian Academy had to settle for second. They took an 88-80 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Montevallo Bulldogs. One positive for the Eagles, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

This is the second loss in a row for Alabama Christian Academy and nudges their season record down to 18-6. That patch can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.0 points over those games. As for Montevallo, their win bumped their record up to 3-25.
