Baseball Recap: Cane Bay Comes Up Short

Cane Bay lost against Wando back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Cobras came up short against the Warriors, falling 9-2. The Cobras have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cane Bay saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ethan Dodson, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Cane Bay's defeat dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Wando, their victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 6-5.

While Cane Bay had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
