Volleyball Recap: Payson Snags Fourth Win in Last Five Games

Payson won the last time they faced Box Elder, and Brynley Nielson did her part to make sure it happened again. The Lions skirted past the Bees 3-2 for which the team can thank Nielson, who had nine digs and six aces. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 2.4 aces per game.

Payson is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-4 record this season. As for Box Elder, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-4.

Coming up, Payson will challenge Richfield at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Lions are facing the Wildcats at the right time seeing as the Wildcats are stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Box Elder, they will welcome Bonneville at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The contest will give the Bees their first taste of in-conference action this season.
