Soccer Recap: Needham Falls Short Against Ranked Natick

Needham faced Natick in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Rockets fell just short of the Redhawks by a score of 2-1. The contest was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Needham couldn't quite close it out.

Needham's loss dropped their record down to 8-3-2. As for Natick, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-4.

Looking ahead, Needham will host Framingham at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Natick, they will head out on the road to square off against Newton North at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
