Basketball Recap: Maize Comes Up Short

Maize and Manhattan squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Maize had to settle for second. They came up short against the Manhattan Indians, falling 51-27. The Eagles just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Maize's loss dropped their record down to 5-16. As for Manhattan, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season.

As of now, neither Maize nor Manhattan have any future games scheduled.
