Volleyball Recap: Cosby Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Cosby was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They came up short against the Washburn Pirates, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Pirates this season, with their most recent defeat being a 3-1 loss last Tuesday.

While Cosby was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Washburn's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-14, 25-15.

Cosby's defeat dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Washburn, their win was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 22-7.

Cosby does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Washburn, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Eagleton College & Career Academy on the 2nd.
