Softball Recap: Oak Park Takes a Loss

Oak Park's last matchup with Notre Dame (SO) could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's match on Monday. Oak Park came up short against Notre Dame (SO), falling 10-0. The loss was just more heartbreak for the Eagles who fell 4-2 when the teams previously met back in April of 2021.

Oak Park saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Claire Broberg, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one double.

Oak Park now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Notre Dame (SO), their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Oak Park will host Nordhoff at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Notre Dame (SO), they will challenge Sierra Canyon at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
