Baseball Recap: Potomac School Takes a Loss

Potomac School was the 17-4 winner over Maret when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Potomac School Panthers fell just short of the Maret Frogs by a score of 6-5 on Tuesday.

Potomac School saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Colby Bohnen, who scored a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Will Piester was another, going 1-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.

Potomac School's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Maret, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

While Potomac School had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
