Basketball Recap: Tempe Comes Up Short

Tempe was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 16th straight defeat. They took a blow against the Desert Sunrise Golden Hawks, falling 54-18. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Buffaloes this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 48-44 back in January.

Tempe's loss dropped their record down to 3-17. As for Desert Sunrise, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-14.

Tempe does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Desert Sunrise, they will square off against Coronado at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
