Softball Recap: Aptos Mariners vs. Harbor Pirates

Aptos stacked a ninth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Harbor Pirates as the Aptos Mariners made off with a 12-1 victory. The win was nothing new for Aptos as they're now sitting on three straight.

Mya Najera-White made a big impact no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run and only two hits while striking out six over five innings pitched. Najera-White was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Bailey Fulton, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-3. Emma Burgueno was another key contributor, going 2-for-4 with four RBI, a run, and a double.

Aptos pushed their record up to 15-6 with that victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Harbor, they are on a 13-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-13.
