Basketball Recap: Woodlynde Takes a Loss

Woodlynde was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 37-36 heartbreaker at the hands of Delaware Valley Friends. One positive for Woodlynde, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Delaware Valley Friends can attribute much of their success to Wes Eckel, who posted eight points in addition to seven boards and three steals. Tim Childers also deserves some recognition as he posted his first blocks of the season.

Woodlynde's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Delaware Valley Friends, the victory snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 4-7 record.

Woodlynde does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Delaware Valley Friends has already played their next match (against AIM Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
