Waterloo lost against Nashville back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Bulldogs fell 2-0 to the Hornets. The Bulldogs' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Nyla Viglasky paced Waterloo's offense, picking up 12 kills. Viglasky got some help from Julia Briggs and her 11 assists. Ellie Day controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Nashville found their leader in sophomore Rylie Neuhaus, who had 15 assists and five digs.

Waterloo's loss dropped their record down to 23-8. As for Nashville, the win (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 21-11.

Waterloo wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Pinckneyville on the 18th. As for Nashville, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Freeburg on the 18th.
