Softball Game Preview: St. Petersburg Catholic Barons vs. Gibbs Gladiators

The St. Petersburg Catholic Barons will challenge the Gibbs Gladiators at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with five consecutive losses for St. Petersburg Catholic and ten for Gibbs dating back to last season.

St. Petersburg Catholic lost 18-2 to Admiral Farragut on Monday.

Meanwhile, Gibbs came up short against Bayshore on Thursday, falling 23-8.

Brianna Narvaez made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole two bases while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Shania Fisher-Sutton, who went 1-for-2 with two runs and one triple.

St. Petersburg Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Gibbs, their loss dropped their record down to 0-8.
