Volleyball Recap: New Milford Comes Up Short

New Milford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Amity Regional Spartans. If the Green Wave were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Spartans when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 22-25, 25-13, 25-22.

New Milford's loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Amity Regional, their win ended a nine-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. New Milford will host Stamford at 5:45 p.m. on Monday. As for Amity Regional, they will be playing at home against Hand at 5:15 p.m. on Monday.
