Basketball Recap: South Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

South had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 16.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They came out on top against the North Blue Devils by a score of 30-19. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Cardinals also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2022.

South pushed their record up to 6-4 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.3 points per game. As for North, they now have a losing record at 1-2.

South will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Stockbridge at 5:30 p.m. on January 29th. As for North, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Messmer on the 10th.
