After flying high against Jordan-Matthews last Thursday, Seaforth came back down to earth. The Hawks took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Triangle Math & Science Tigers on Saturday. The Hawks' defeat signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Their offense was headlined by Gabe Gonzalez and Zach Evans, who picked up two kills apiece. They got some help from Kleber Corzo and his four assists. Gonzalez was also solid from the service line: he led the team with two aces.

Triangle Math & Science was led to victory by Chris Lange and Kaan Uyer. Lange had 20 assists, while Uyer had two aces. Lange is crushing it when it comes to assists: he's posted at least 14 every time he's taken the court this season.

Seaforth's loss dropped their record down to 9-3. As for Triangle Math & Science, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-3.

Seaforth wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Eno River Academy on the 12th. As for Triangle Math & Science, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Reagan on the 12th.
