Softball Recap: Campbell County Takes a Loss

Campbell County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They lost 17-1 to the Karns Beavers. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Beavers this season, with their most recent defeat being a 18-3 loss back in April.

Campbell County's defeat dropped their record down to 3-20. As for Karns, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 26-10.

Campbell County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Karns, they will take on Knoxville Central at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bobcats' pitching crew has only allowed three runs per game this season, so the Beavers' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
