It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but South Walton had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They skirted past the Suwannee Bulldogs 4-2. The victory was familiar territory for the Seahawks, who have now won 20 games in a row.

South Walton got a great performance from Denton Lord as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 12 over six innings pitched. Lord has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in eight consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Coleman Borthwick, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. Cameron Tipton-Thomas was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two runs.

South Walton's win was their 15th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 30-3. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 8.9 runs. As for Suwannee, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 23-10 record this season.
