Basketball Recap: Alliance Comes Up Short

Alliance was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 63-13 loss at the hands of the Broken Bow Indians. The matchup marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Alliance's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Broken Bow, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Alliance will face off against Sidney on Friday. As for Broken Bow, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Boone Central at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.
