Softball Recap: Lunenburg Blue Knights vs. Oakmont Regional Spartans
Lunenburg won the last time they faced Oakmont Regional and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Blue Knights came out on top against the Spartans by a score of 6-2.
Maegan Martell spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on four hits and racked up six Ks.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Rylee Guimond, who went 2-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and one double. That double marked the first that she has hit this season. Another player making a difference was Leah Harrington, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run.
