Volleyball Game Preview: Grant Pacers vs. Cordova Lancers

The Grant Pacers will challenge the Cordova Lancers at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Grant saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to Truckee. The Pacers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Meanwhile, Cordova came up short against Kennedy on Thursday, falling 3-0. The loss continues a trend for the Lancers in their meetings with the Cougars: they've now lost three in a row.

Cordova was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-15, 25-15.

Grant's defeat dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Cordova, their loss dropped their record down to 4-12.

Grant came out on top in a nail-biter against Cordova in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, sneaking past 3-2. Will the Pacers repeat their success, or do the Lancers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
