Volleyball Recap: Tri-Valley Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Tri-Valley couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They came up short against the Panther Valley Panthers on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Bulldogs' loss signaled the end of their 13-game winning streak.

Tri-Valley took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-5, 25-13, 28-26.

Liv Lupole paced Tri-Valley's offense, picking up 13 kills. Lupole got some help from Kenzie Tobin and her 14 assists. Finally, Emma Moore kept Tri-Valley's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

Tri-Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 24-2. As for Panther Valley, they pushed their record up to 18-2 with the victory, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Tri-Valley will head out on the road to challenge Schuylkill Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Panther Valley, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Pottsville at 6:00 p.m.
