Marion has gone 8-2 against Muncie Central recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. Meanwhile, Muncie Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were beaten by Greenfield-Central 67-39. The Bearcats were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 36-15.

Marion will need focus on slowing down Shemar Taylor, one of several Muncie Central players who made an impact when they last played. He posted 11 points. Another player making a difference was Lj Strange, who put up six points.

Muncie Central's loss dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Marion, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-8.
