Erick Lumpkin posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Saturday. He wasn't messing around, striking out nine batters over 4.1 innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off nine hits (and only one walk). The pitching appearance was his fourth straight with one or fewer walks.
