College Station posted their closest win since August 15th on Thursday. They skirted past the Hebron Hawks 2-1. Winning may never get old, but the Cougars sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Despite the defeat, Hebron saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Kate McGough had 15 digs and four assists. McGough has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last seven times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Corinne Wiley, who had seven digs and three assists.

College Station's victory bumped their record up to 9-4. As for Hebron, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-8 record this season.

College Station has already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against Friendswood on the 28th. As for Hebron, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Hallsville on the 28th.
