Soccer Recap: High Tech CV Takes a Loss

High Tech CV lost against Preuss UCSD back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The High Tech CV Bruins lost 5-2 to the Preuss UCSD Tritons. While losing is never fun, the Bruins can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 1029th, while the Tritons are ranked 357th).

Maverick Louis and Rafael Barragan scored both of High Tech CV's goals, bringing their combined season tally to four goals.

High Tech CV has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season. As for Preuss UCSD, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-6.

Coincidentally, High Tech CV and Preuss UCSD will both be playing High Tech NC the next time they take the pitch. Preuss UCSD will host High Tech NC at 3:15 p.m. on Monday, while High Tech CV will head out to face them at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
