After only one run in their last match, Pompano Beach made sure to put some runs up on the board against Pembroke Pines Charter on Tuesday. The Pompano Beach Golden Tornadoes blew past the Pembroke Pines Charter Jaguars 12-3. The result was nothing new for the Golden Tornadoes, who have now won four contests by nine runs or more so far this season.

The team relied heavily on Emma Lamont, who scored three runs while going 2-for-4. GABI OLIVER was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4.

Lamont wasn't the only one working in the hit department: Pompano Beach kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. Pompano Beach is 3-1 when they post 11 or more hits.

Pompano Beach now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Pembroke Pines Charter, this is the second loss in a row for them and also nudges their season record down to 4-3.
