Basketball Recap: West Brunswick Trojans vs. Laney Buccaneers
West Brunswick has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They fell 52-40 to the Laney Buccaneers on Friday. The Trojans were not able to make up for their loss to the Buccaneers from their previous meeting back in January.

Despite the loss, West Brunswick still got an impressive performance from Matthew McKenney, who shot 55% from the field en route to 14 points and six boards. McKenney has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last four times he's played. Isaac Clarida was another key player, putting up eight points and ten rebounds.

West Brunswick will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Clinton at 6:00 p.m. on the 27th. Laney will take on Westover in a holiday battle at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
