The Long Reach Lightning will face off against the Oakland Mills Scorpions at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Long Reach is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.

Long Reach is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Atholton on Saturday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Lightning came up short against the Raiders, falling 32-7. The contest marked the Lightning's lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Meanwhile, Oakland Mills was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Saturday as they fell 25-20 to Guilford Park. The loss was the Scorpions' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Oakland Mills fell to 5-1. As for Long Reach, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.
