Basketball Game Preview: Scintilla Charter Academy Spartans vs. Charlton County Indians

After both having extra time off, the Scintilla Charter Academy Spartans and the Charlton County Indians will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Scintilla Charter Academy has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Scintilla Charter Academy is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They claimed a resounding 95-57 win over Highland Christian Academy. The Spartans have beaten the EAGLES the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the EAGLES has come to flipping the script.

Tyler Williams was nothing short of spectacular: he dropped a double-double with 24 points and 11 assists. The matchup was his fifth in a row with at least 15 points. Another player making a difference was Player #1, who went 6-for-12 to rack up 15 points in addition to five assists and four steals.

They weren't the only ones working in the assist department: Scintilla Charter Academy was working as a unit and finished the game with 21 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Charlton County, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They escaped with a win last Thursday against Pierce County by the margin of a single free throw, 33-32.

Scintilla Charter Academy's record is now 3-1. As for Charlton County, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.
