Basketball Recap: Manhattan Center for Science & Math Comes Up Short

After flying high against Martin Luther King Jr Educational Campus last Thursday, Manhattan Center for Science & Math came back down to earth. The Manhattan Center for Science & Math Rams were beaten by Washington Heights Expeditionary 76-44 on Monday. While losing is never fun, the Rams can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 419th, while Washington Heights Expeditionary are ranked 64th).

Manhattan Center for Science & Math's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Washington Heights Expeditionary, the win keeps them at an undefeated 9-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Manhattan Center for Science & Math will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Washington at 6:00 p.m. on January 24th. As for Washington Heights Expeditionary, they will look to defend their home court on January 21st against Randolph Campus at 5:00 p.m. One thing working in Washington Heights Expeditionary's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
