Basketball Recap: Nease Falls Despite Big Games from Jack Kuhl and Chase Phifer

Nease was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 41-30 to the Bishop Kenny Crusaders. The game marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Nease's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Chase Phifer, who posted six points and five rebounds, and Jack Kuhl, who earned eight points.

Nease's defeat dropped their record down to 9-14. As for Bishop Kenny, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-9 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Nease will venture away from home to face off against Tocoi Creek at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Bishop Kenny, they and St. Augustine will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest having both just played.
