Basketball Recap: Magee Snags 12th Victory in Last 13 Games

Magee entered their tilt with Jefferson Davis County on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They secured a 46-41 W over the Jefferson Davis County Jaguars. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 68-51 on January 7th.

Magee has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.1 points per game. As for Jefferson Davis County, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-13.

Magee is taking a road trip to square off against Hazlehurst at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Jefferson Davis County has already played their next matchup, a 47-46 victory against Long Beach on the 25th.
