Soccer Recap: Cook Takes a Loss

Cook was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss. They lost 12-2 to the Atkinson County Rebels. Cook were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 6-1.

Cook's defeat dropped their record down to 0-14-1. As for Atkinson County, their victory bumped their record up to 9-5.

Cook and Atkinson County could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings. The Hornets (ranked 460th) will meet Georgia Christian (ranked 67th) at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Atkinson County will face off against Thomasville at 5:00 p.m. on Friday with a big rank disadvantage (247 vs. 75).
