Football Game Preview: Harpursville/Afton Hornets vs. Deposit-Hancock

The Harpursville/Afton Hornets will head out on the road to face off against Deposit-Hancock on Saturday. Harpursville/Afton has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the matchup with three straight defeats, while Deposit-Hancock will come in with three straight wins.

On Saturday, Harpursville/Afton had to suffer through a 49-13 loss at the hands of Watkins Glen.

Meanwhile, Deposit-Hancock made easy work of Newark Valley on Saturday and carried off a 35-13 victory. The result was nothing new for Deposit-Hancock, who have now won three contests by 21 points or more so far this season.

Deposit-Hancock's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Harpursville/Afton, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Harpursville/Afton took a serious blow against Deposit-Hancock in their previous meeting back in October of 2023, falling 55-14. Can the Hornets avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
