Soccer Game Preview: Wetumpka vs. Booker T. Washington

The Wetumpka Indians will head out to square off against the Booker T. Washington Golden Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Wetumpka has three straight victories, Booker T. Washington has five straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the pitch.

Wetumpka's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed last Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 7-0 margin over Prattville Christian Academy. Considering the Indians have won four games by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Booker T. Washington came up short against Montgomery Catholic on Tuesday, falling 8-1. That's two games in a row now that the Golden Eagles have lost by exactly seven goals.

Wetumpka now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Booker T. Washington, their loss dropped their record down to 0-5.
