Paint Rock extends road losing streak to nine

Recap: Paint Rock Indians vs. Santa Anna Mountaineers

This season hasn't been kind to the Paint Rock Indians, who are still winless after their fifth match. They were beaten by Santa Anna 64-21 on Friday. Paint Rock was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 29-9.

Jacob Jimenez continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Santa Anna, dropping a double-double on 27 points and 13 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Jimenez has scored all season. Wyatt Strickland was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with five steals.

Paint Rock bumped their record down to 0-5 with that defeat, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Santa Anna, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Paint Rock will take on Panther Creek at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Santa Anna, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Menard at 7:30 p.m.
