Basketball Recap: Lowell Comes Up Short

Lowell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 58-26 loss at the hands of the Bandon Tigers. The Devils were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February.

Lowell's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Bandon, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-2.

Lowell will take on Harrisburg in a tournament on Friday. Harrisburg will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Lowell surely won't give up without a fight. As for Bandon, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on La Pine at 7:30 p.m. on January 2, 2025.
