Baseball Recap: Cloudland Comes Up Short

Cloudland fell victim to North Greene and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 10-0 to the Huskies. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Huskies this season, with their most recent defeat being a 31-0 loss two weeks ago.

Cloudland's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for North Greene, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.

Cloudland will head out on the road to challenge Avery County at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for North Greene, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Unaka at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
