Basketball Recap: Garey Comes Up Short

Garey was the 37-34 winner over Nogales when they last played one another two weeks ago, but their luck changed this time around. The Garey Vikings fell 54-43 to the Nogales Nobles on Thursday. The Vikings just can't catch a break and have now endured five losses in a row.

Garey now has a losing record at 8-9. As for Nogales, with the win, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-17.

Garey will be playing at home against Baldwin Park at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Nogales, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Duarte at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
